Routes stay private
Your exact route is visible only to you. The public map shows kilometre-scale zones with no name attached.
Sensor data never leaves
Raw accelerometer and gyroscope readings are processed on your phone and never transmitted or stored.
No ads, no sale, no trackers
No data sales, no ads, no advertising SDKs. Leaderboards are opt-in, and you can delete your account and all its data from inside the app.

Is it free?
Yes — no subscription, no ads. The long-term plan is for cities, BIDs and sponsors to fund neighborhood campaigns, not for pickers to pay.
Does my phone really count pickups by itself?
It uses your phone's motion sensors to keep a running count while you clean up. Every cleanup ends with the total for you to confirm before saving.
What counts as a "bag"?
A standard 13-gallon kitchen bag, roughly 200 pieces. Fill half a bag, log half a bag — or let PICK estimate from your pickup count.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet — iPhone only, with an Apple Watch companion. Android is on the roadmap but not built. Email hello@pickglobal.org and we'll tell you when it exists.
Can I use it outside New York?
Yes. Street-level tracking works anywhere. Neighborhood boundaries are hand-curated for New York City, Atlanta, San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, San Diego, Miami, Amsterdam, and Bristol; elsewhere PICK uses OpenStreetMap boundaries where they exist.
